Q-pea is a fan project made by DoubleU. This page states what it stores and why.

What the game server keeps
Your username, a bcrypt hash of your password, and your character: its stats, items, position and settings. The Q-pea server keeps them in its save database and loads your character from it when you log in. The same database keeps the character details you enter on the account pages, and your recovery questions with a bcrypt hash of each answer.

What other players see
The world map on this site shows the username and tile of every player online. The front page shows how many players are online. The hiscores show every account's levels and experience.

What this website keeps
The website sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics. The world map keeps its view settings in your browser's local storage. When you log in, the site keeps your username and a session token there too, and logging out removes them. The name you choose while creating an account stays in the browser's session storage until the account is made.

Nothing is sold
The project sells nothing and shares no player data with anyone. It shows no adverts.
